Widcombe Choir

The fee for the 13-week Autumn Term starting on 11th September 2025 will be confirmed soon. This is equivalent to £X/session.

We have a termly commitment to pay our leaders and for our rehearsal space regardless of numbers attending, so, like most choirs, we have a termly fee and ask this is paid upfront.

If you are a new member, there is no commitment to pay for your first session. You are simply welcome to come along and see how you get on. If, after your free first session, you do decide to join Widcombe Choir, the balance for the rest of that term will then be due.

We meet on Thursday afternoons between 2pm - 4pm upstairs at Widcombe Social Club - see Map link. We’re currently taking our Summer Break.

We have 2 Choir Leaders who share the running of Widcombe Choir. This means that we also get to learn a range of different music styles… which adds to the enjoyment of the occasion. Rachel Philips will lead us for the first 10 Sessions of next Term, up to Thursday 20th November. There’s no Choir during Half Term in week commencing Monday 27th October. Widcombe Choir will also be performing at the Widcombe Christmas Market, on Saturday 22nd November. After that Sabrina Parente will lead us up to the end of the Winter Term (from Thursday 28th November up to Thursday 11th December), and for the start of the Spring Term (commencing on 8th January 2026, after the Christmas Break).
